I'm good with my folder view/hidden files settings - - I have no issues viewing my other Nuvis.
I'll look at that Mass Storage mode suggestion.

Cant find
I just picked up a 65LMT and I can't see the files I would normally view in Windows Explorer. The device indicates it handles Junction View, but I can't find a JCV file. In fact, I don't see the .System file or the other files I'd normally see. There is a Garmin folder, bit it only contains diagnostic stuff. I don't even see the map image
In Windows Explorer you will need to go to the "Tools" thread then select "Folder Options".
Now click on "View" and uncheck any "Hide" boxes as well as check off "Show hidden files, folders and drives".
This will let you see the system files for the GARMIN.
