what do you think of Lookout Security

I use Norton Mobile and it is great...
Pay one fee and use it on all you mobile devises. I use it on my smart phone and my Nexus 7.

I use AVG and it's free.

Avast user here, but I used Lookout in the past. In the case of Lookout, if you have any apps on your device signed using the Android SDK test key, Lookout treats the app as a virus and gives you the option to remove it.

Useless if you restrict your downloads to an established app store, like Google Play.

Avast doesn't do this, however the fact Avast doesn't is why I switched to it. That and the fact Avast is on my laptop. Must be because I actually dabble in development.

I had outlook on a older phone and was stolen. Even tho I did not get it back, We did find NEAR location and also sent a alarm and locked the phone. I am sure all they had to do was to reset the pnone but then they lost all my data which is the reason for having it on!

I did find that it did kill the battery much facster. Now I use something from my Verizon carrer that I get free from the insurance that I pay for. Works the same and a few more stuff for free (well.. guess I am paying for it (lol)

It is free and hopefully it provides some protection.

Use AVG Free and Malwarebytes on my PCs. Have not used an AV on my Galaxy for many months now. Don't go anywhere more than Google Play for apps. Lookout is installed, but not active. Don't recall why I disabled it.
