An "Index" to all of our FAQs/Pages/Reference has recently been added.
One of the purposes of the Index is to allow a user to find pertinent information regardless of whether or not the "Tag" that might describe the information appears in the title of the FAQ itself.
I would appreciate it if each member who has created a FAQ(s) to take a look at the Index and see if I was able to gather all of the appropriate "Tags" from your FAQ(s).
Even though I read every FAQ and tried to determine "Tags" that would helpful to someone seeking information, I am sure that I missed many.
Thanks in advance for your help.
As always John, great work and many thanks for all your time & contributions.
It's people like yourself that make the POI Factory the best and most informative web site for all GPS enthusiasts.
Under Magellan you have a tutorial for loading POI files using the Rand McNally dock program.
I completely missed that one in my review.
Removed the entry under Magellan.
Might I make a suggestion? Ask everyone to use the search to find random keywords, or better yet, take current questions posted on the board recently, and apply them to the search to see if adequate results are being returned.
Now to find those hard to find areas that need clarification....with GPS devices!
If you want to make an addition
Is about Garmin Internal Memory sizes and has links under Memory and Internal Memory. Since it specific to Garmins it could be included under Garmin if you like.
Good idea - Thanks
Fantastic job, this should go on the home page. Well done, a great job
