Hello, I'm new here.

Hi everyone. I'm pretty much a new user here, but I happened to come across this site and found it to be very interesting and useful; it's great how people make these files so you don't have to pay for a map upgrade to keep your GPS up-to-date; I was one of the people who didn't want to pay for a map update, so as time went by my Magellan SE4 became way out-of-date.

I wish I would have known about this site sooner, because having a smartphone now, I use that as my GPS, since the Magellan started to become crap anyway.

But even though I have a smartphone, I know there are some people out there who still use those standard GPSes. That's why I've decided to join the factory and help out. My first project is going to be on Planet Fitness gyms. It's still in progress, but I have been working on it. I'm going to make a thread which will initially give updates on how the project is going, and eventually change into a thread for people to suggest additions and changes to the POI file.

I am glad to start becoming a part of this site and plan to make various projects to help make everyone's GPSes more useful in the long run.
