Hi - I've downloaded the DDD (Diners, Drive-ins and Dives) poi twice. Transferred to my RVND 7725, followed all instructions. The unit asks me if I want to import the data and I say yes. Then it just sits there doing absolutely nothing at all. When I finally give up and hit cancel, it still sits there like a dead thing until I finally turn it off.
Anyway have an answer for this? I installed the wifi lite poi several weeks ago with no problem...
Thanks for any help you can offer
Helen
which one?

There are 3 DDD files here. If we new which one you tried we might be able to help. I suspect you may have tried the Triple D Plus file as it is a CSV but that one may not work in a RM unit because of the way it is put together.

unable to import DDD
Box Car - You are right. It is the file uploaed by Flaco and yes, it is a csv file. I thought I had imported a coupole of other csv files before though, the wifi lite being one? Which format should I be looking for for the rand 7725?
thanks
CSV is the right format
The way Flaco designed his version of Triple D has what amounts to several pages of information on a Nuvi. The carriage return/line feed characters used are seen as end of records in the RM units so there would be lots of unusable records when you try to import. Just chalk it up, unless you are decent at editing those type files (you can do it in Wordpad) it's one that is unusable for the RVND.

I have tried both triple D .cvs files. Neither of them worked for me. Is there a good one out there for the RVND7725
Not all created equal
Sometimes I've found poi files to not quite be ready for all devices and the way we have them set up. Wish I could be more helpful however I just need to occasionally walk away and give the creator of it time to make modifications that will permit it to work with my device.
