Any way to regain 'recalculating'?

So our newest GPS like all other new garmins does not say recalculating. Is there any workaround for this? What an easy fix an 'on off' button would have been..

Best Improvement yet

In all of the years I've had a Garmin GPSr, removing "Recalculating" is possibly my favorite improvement.

Have your girl/boyfriend or

Have your girl/boyfriend or spouse in the car with you at all times. They will always ask you why you are going a different way.

Just convince them to start any such discussion with a mechanical voiced "RECALCULATING".

Boy, am I in big trouble for this one...lol
