Nuvi 660 info

I was just checking my 660 out and in the map info I see two things listed with check marks in both box's.
One says North America 2014.20 western Alaska,Eastern Alaska, Cayman Is. and the other says City navigator North America 2008 All. can I delete one of them or just let it be?
Odd Map Of Alaska?
Where did the Alaska, Eastern Alaska, Cayman Islands map come from?
Why Alaska is split into two regions is odd.
The City navigator North America 2008 All map should be the default map that came with your Nuvi and have the file name of gmapprom.img.
The Alaska map should have a file map name of gmapsupp.img either on the 660 or on an SD card.
It appears the Alaska map was created by someone that had a full 2014.20 North America map and altered it by selecting the two regions in Alaska & Cayman Islands. The North America 2008 map includes the Cayman Islands and can cause a search conflict since the area is on both maps.
I don't know what map area your default 2008 map has.
To check if Alaska is present on that one go into Map Info and uncheck the Alaska Map or remove the SD card if it's located there. Reboot and now select where to and change state, see if Alaska is a choice.
If it is, I would delete the Alaska map since its double coverage of the same area that will cause problems.
