Extra POI Editor-Requested Search Did Not Return Any Relevant Results

I am running Windows 7 and recently had a few security upgrades, which were the usual windows Upgrades.

I entered the address for a new location and clicked to Geocode the address. Instead of getting the Latitude and Longitude, I got the following message:

"Requested Search Did Not Return Any Relevant Results"

I can enter the coordinates manually, but the whole idea with EPE is to generate the coordinates for you.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I thought I would reinstall and see if that would correct the problem. I downloaded the Extra_POI_Editor_Installer_v532_setup and Norton Antivirus would remove the file immediately saying it was unsafe and has WS.Reputation.1 after it was analyzed.

WS.Reputation.1 is a detection for files that have a low reputation score based on analyzing data from Symantec’s community of users.

I have never had any issues with TurboCC Files. Should I shut down Norton and install? I have never had any problems with EPE, until now.

see this thread

the problem is that a Google API used by EPE has been discontinued

At this time there is no resolution.

Turbocc has been busy on a new job and has not returned to us.

Is There an Alternative to EPE to Use?

I saw this in the previous thread: "As of 9 September 2013 the v2 API will no longer work."

Yup!! That pretty much sums up why it worked the last time I used it, but not this time.

I will try GPS Visualizer as suggested, unless someone can come up with another alternative.
