In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share with us the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you use it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

Labour day, that means Summer is almost at the end.
Just came back from our trip to Indiana ,Michigan and Ohio.
furniture shopping :-0
Had a visit with the family over the weekend. Traffic was not as bad as expected and weather was clear (though hot). A pleasant visit and travels.
Just got back from a trip to Wellsboro PA to ride the Pine Creek Gorge bike trail. My Dezl 760 was flawless on the road but waypoints in my Montana 650T were off by almost 50 feet on the trail. I suspect it was due to the poor GPS reception in the deep Pine Creek Gorge. Had fun anyway.
Driving around Atlanta
Happy labor day..
Was off all last week. With Monday off this week it leaves a 4 day week. I will be messed up on which day it is all week.
Took a final summer Labor Day getaway to the Chicago-Milwaukee area. The lighthouses POI came in handy, and the unexpected 110th Harley anniversary in Milwaukee added a surprise (noisy, but fun) atmosphere to that area.
Went to the speedway and drove a NASCAR. Reached 150 MPH on the banked track.
Gotta love these 4 day weeks!
...keep on turnin'
Broken bow Oklahoma
Went to east coast on a trip and found the garmin very nice.
"Retirement: Every day is a holiday!"
The GPS still instructs to exit the highway I need to be in, instead suggesting silly routes through smaller roads. Come on, Garmin, time to update the software!!!
Just got back from camping in Jasper. Pretty cold at night for staying in a tent in the mountains.
Kingsport, TN to Charleston, WV-area and back, Labor Day weekend, but almost no traffic on the WV Turnpike!
Just got back from Northern California.
Have you seen the brand new World's largest self-anchored suspension bridge?
Just local driving lately...
A trip to Juanitas Winery
Just a day trip to see the sights and shop.
Traveling this week with the RV the GPS will announce turn left or turn right when I was traveling on some real curvey roads. Really becomes annoying. When I look down at the screen it is showing me the road with sharp turns. When traveling in a strange ares and you are relying on the GPS it becomes frustrating listing to that.
Also I have the GPS set to keep off narrow roads and guess what it sent me down one?
Anyway and great week.
Leave tomorrow AM for Upstate NY - easy one this time !
9 states , about 3000 miles for my S.O.'s grandson's wedding !
Both GPSs loaded with latest POIs that I use so ready to go !
Heading up to Owen Sound.
New dr. that I needed to find.
Came up to LI for Labor Day and to spend some time in our NYC office. I'm off to Washington, DC next for a conference.
Went to the park using my GPS.
but we're headed to Sedona soon
Was on business trip in Connecticut.
I did put some kms this week and I am learning the ways of the new 2595. I have to see if I can enable the voice on the pois for red-light cams and police enforcement sites. It is no that I speed or run red-lights but helps keeping me alert for a cautious drive.
years...don't hold your breath.
It's Monday again.
Chester, NJ for a craft fair.
Baltimore, MD to Dover, DE.
I know the route ... but, hey, I always fire up the GPS ... why ... because I can.
Heading south through Missouri, we used the Garmin to locate a nice state park.
use it. But additionally
Me too, I spent a lot of money for the GPS so I might as well use it.
But additionally the 3790 also keeps track of fuel consumption when it is on and you enter the info at a fill-up!
Headed down to Southern California for a funeral. At least with the Nuvi helping with navigation, that's one less thing to worry about.
Left home (florida) last month (August) and we are currently in Minnesota. Using gps to update some of the files that I maintain. Not scheduled to be back home until early Nov.
Update 9/20/2013: Currently in a campground in West Yellowstone,MT. Visited Yellowstone NP the last two days and yesterday a snowfall had occurred in parts of the Park. A winter wonderland. This morning their is a heavy frost outside, and plan to visit the Park again today.
