MP3 Music Downloads?

"Google" "dbPower Amp Music Converter". It's a freeware program that allows you to convert one format to another, such as .wav to .MP3. If you own music you'd like to convert to .mp3, this program does it fast. I believe MS Media Player also does it, but I'm not certain. Just transfer your music CD to your computer, then activate dbPowerAmp.

Downloading music from the "net" without paying for it is asking for trouble. Just my opinion.

THANKS. All MS Media Ctr. music partners: XM, Napster, Walmart Music downloads,Emusic etc. download an encripted format that (I Believe) cannot be changed to MP3 which only Garmin Units Accept. Something to do with copy right protection. It would have been nice to down load only the songs I want for $.89 a piece. I'll buy my CDs' and then download them myself. No problem. Jake

iTunes has files in MP3 format. You can copy the files to up to 5 computers (Mac or PC). Plus you can burn them to a CD unlimited times.

Try LimeWire or Morpheous

You can download the protected files, burn them to a CD and them rip them into mp3 format. This is effective for a few songs, but can be a pain for many.
