Yes
Appears to work OK.
What I've seen in another forum indicates that there is a potential to get the GPSr's file directory structure corrupted and then issues cascading from that as a result - so the Windows Error Checking/Scan Disk should be used before defragging.

Yes, quite often with never a glitch. Does it improve performance of the GPS like it does Windows? Not noticeably, especially when factoring in the satellite acquisition time; but I'll keep doing it anyway because I like to keep everything in order.
