nuvi 255W fault

from my nuvi 255W i deleted the garmin file by accident
When powered up,or connected to USB, a Garmin screen flashes and bleeps repeatedly, until i switch it off (with some difficulty).The computer does not recognise the unit,so i have no access to reload the files
i would appreciate any help from you guys

hard reset
Try a hard reset and see if the computer will recognize your Nuvi. If the computer doesn't see it, the recovery programs probably won't work.
