Can't locate POI loader on computer

I downloaded the POI loader from the Garmin website, but after clicking on the file to load it, it seems to disappear from my laptop? Can anyone help?

Download it again, this time, watch where your computer saves it, probably in the same place as before. -OR- Look in your "Downloads" directory. - OR - Check the Desktop. Hope one of these helps.

If you've already installed it, the default install location is C:\GARMIN - and sadly, the install program doesn't give you the option of installing it elsewhere.

It should show up on by selecting "Start" then "All Programs", then "Garmin", then "POI Loader". Since I changed these, I'm going by memory. As I recall no desktop Icon is generated, you must make one yourself or use the "Start" "All Programs", etc. option.
Be sure that it hasn't been installed...Go to "Control Panel", "Add or Remove Programs" and look for it. If it is showing as having been installed "Garmin POI Loader" then you should either "remove" it or try "repairing" it by clicking on "Click here for support information", then clicking "Repair". If you select to remove it, then you can safely dowload and re-install. If you download and re-install without removing it then your system will be confused - "registry" will not be happy, then you will definately need to remove it and start over.
