I don't live in Wyoming

Hi! I'm a newbee. I've just purchased a Magellan 2200T. After considerable confusion (they don't give any instruction on what a custom poi is or where you can get them), I downloaded a few poi's-- but when I opened them on my system, they said the nearest was in Wyoming! (I'm in Fort Lauderdale, FL) The Megellan Roadmate POI editor placed "dots" that show that there are locations in my area, and looking at the longitude/latitude of individual files verifies this, but I wind up in Wyoming.

I then downloaded POI Verifier, and that cleaned up most of the files. But I still have a problem with some files that would be important to me, such as Walmart, Superwalmart, Sears and 7-11-- they still point me to Wyoming!

What am I doing wrong?

Also, I don't understand why there are no links to places that I think people would want to go to. 7-11 is hard to find, the only file on Radio Shack returns only California locations, there's nothing on KFC, Wendy's or Burger King... You would think that the IT people at these companies would make it easy for people to find their locations and put a POI link on their website!

Am I searching in all the wrong places?
