When's commissioning? Fred

a few months--
GPS IIF-3 was launched last October; it's in use now.
IIF-4 will show up as PRN-27, 4 to 6 weeks?
IIF-5 still on track for October.
When we'll get receivers that can use the L5 signal (in the aero nav band, 1176.45 MHz) is a different story!

look forward to better navs
Maybe it wont take so long to get a fix. Will wait to get the new enhanced receiver.
Unless you are the lead sled dog, the view never changes. I is retard... every day is Saturday! I still use the Garmin 3590 LMT even tho I upgraded to the Garmin 61 LMT. Bigger screen is not always better in my opinion.
Good news!
The circularization burn was a success -- IIF-4 is now in a good orbit!
Hard to believe the Atlas (now centaur-Atlas-V) is still in use -- my dad worked on the early ones, *many* decades ago!

Well, the car engine was designed almost 100 years ago. If the basics are right, don't change, just improve.
nuvi 855. Life is not fair. I don't care who told you it is.
Ah, you young kids . . .

I worked on the Thor-Delta (also still in service) that was (is) a contemporary of the Atlas Centaur - plus the Saturn IV and IVB boosters that were part of the Apollo program.
Fun days, if quite hectic at the time . . .
With best wishes,
