Is POI Loader just for Garmin?

Can I make a POI file in garmin then convert it to Tomtom?

It is just for Garmin

Poi Loader makes a gpi file that garmin uses. The Tom Tom uses .ov2 files.

Garmin unit or SD card

I would like to know, should I install the POI on the Garmin internal driver or it is ok to install them on the SD card, I also notice that when I Install newer speed camera and red light camera somehow does not over write the older version but I get duplicate how do I delete the older POI so I do not get duplicate?
