The coordinates for the Murray & Scholls store in Beaverton, OR are way off. Correct values are:

-122.82668,45.43824

Note that the Starbucks Corporate site just plunks the store down in the middle of a shopping center. The location above reflects the exact location.

Hello,

I believe there is an error with the information I provided for the Starbucks at Providence Town Center - line 11617 on your most recent spreadsheet.

The Lat and Long that I provided are what I believe to be correct however the location is coming up several miles East of the actual location. I went to the Starbucks, parked right in front of the store and took the following readings from my Garmin

N 40.09.861
W 075.28.876

What I provided to you was

40.09861
-75.28876

What did I do incorrectly? I would like to avoid the same mistake in the future.

Hi Tom.

It looks like your Garmin was reporting the coordinates as "degrees.decimalMinutes", so "40.09.861" would be "40 degrees, 9.861 minutes". Conversion to decimal degrees would be

40 + (9.861 / 60) = 40.16435

So the coordinates for the POI file would be

-75.481267,40.16435

I checked those values on Google Maps and they are correct, so I updated the file.

Starbucks: Limerick Crossing S.C. - Limerick PA (D)

I drove to this location and using my newly learned conversion.

The correct #'s are

40.21387
-75-50138

The old numbers took you to a corner near the shopping center, but not to the actual Starbucks.

I will tweak that location in the next update.

Came across a Starbucks in the JW Marriott convention center in Indianapolis that doesn't appear to be in the file.
