How many sub-folders will work with the nuvi 50?

Each master folder can only have one sub folder. If you created a GPI file called Food, then you can have the different breakouts but if you only have 1 file, then you can only have one subfolder level.

I have one master folder named "Custom POI", which is what I point POILoader to. Under this I have my 'Resturaunt', 'Medical' etc 1st level subfolders. Under these I have the individual POI files.

If I remember correctly, you can only have 32 of these 1st level subfolders, but no limit (subject to space) of the files under them.

It used to be 32 and 32. 32 folders with 32 files but they may have removed these limits. Files refers to CSV or GPX files as the icon and sound are not counted.

I recently had to break up my DINING subfolder when it grew to more than 32 files.
I now have DINING, FASTFOOD and PIZZA subfolders.
Up side is less keystrokes to select WAFFLE HOUSE.

My recollection is that - beneath the main folder - you can have up to 32 sub folders and each sub folder can have any combination of .csv and .gpx files but there is a limit of 32 .csv/.gpx files within the sub folder (note: that each of the 32 .csv/.gpx files could have associated sound and/or icon file(s).
