import routes to 3790

I know there has been discussions about transfering routes to a 3790. On the Garmin website it idcates a sofware update would be necessary to import woypoints from a gpx file. I can not find that update anywhere. I want to import a gpx from M/S trip and streets. I can get it into the 3790 but am umable to find it on the 3790.

Import

I believe you will have to set up your Windows Explorer to be able to see all hidden files to be able to find the GPX folder.

I find that I can not import routes into my 3790. It goes through all the motions as if it is doing it using MapSource, but in the end no routes show up in the 3790. Routes need to be done laboriously using the GPS I believe.

I do a 3000 mile drive every fall south to Mexico and return in the spring. In reality I almost do not need the GPS, done it for 10 years. But a 3000 mile route has to be broken up into two sections and even then I get complaints from the 3790 that there are too many waypoints. The waypoints I insert number no more than 15!
