Custom POI file question

I'd like a little more detail on what you are attempting to accomplish. If you mean use a photo instead of an icon, it can be done fairly simply by replacing (or creating) the BMP image used for each file. If you want a different image for each location, then you need to build GPX TourGuide files. These files can be quite large due to the image associated with each location.

I built a custom poi file of every county courthouse in Illinois. I then created a folder on my pc and copied all my pics of each courthouse. I reduced the pic size to about 300 x 200 pixels
Opened my gpx courthouse file with EPE. Edit each entry by pointing the LINK to each pic.
Then saved as CountyILTourGuide.gpx in my CustomPOI folder. Then I created an icon and wav file to match. I used POIloader. My file of 102 entries only consumes 1.5KB in the gpi file.
Using my 1490, when I select (ie) WarrenCountyCourthouse in extras,the location shows on a map.
PRESS FOR MORE results in a small thumbnail. Tap the thumbnail, and there is the full size pic.

I created a JPEG folder this morning and placed it on my SD card. I then copied 3 .bmp files from my 1490T and placed them in the JPEG folder. The JPEG folder is not in my Custom POI folder.Maybe that's the reason I could not attach the file. Will have to find out what EPE is. Is the TourGuide.gpx a separate program? Thanks.

Negative. All of my Custom POI files have a .bmp file associated with the file name. In my Favorites, I have an image attached to a gas station I go to often. I was just trying to do the same thing with a Kangaroo Gas station custom POI file I downloaded. Thanks anyway for your reply.
