What would Santa's 'go to' GPS system be?

Here's the scenario: Rudolph woke up this morning feeling a little queezy, so he informed Santa that his reindeer guidance system might be just a tad off. Now everyone knows that Rudolph & his cohorts always come through, but just in case Santa figures maybe he should mount one of those newfangled GPS systems to his handle bars. What might Santa's 'go to' system be?

Best Wishes all! grin

I would go with the Garmin

good question

Don't know what Santa may use but the three wise man did pretty good using the star of Bethlehem.

Garmin Aera 560

He definitely needs a waterproof aviation unit, thus something like a Garmin Aera 560.

Seems to be more reliable than a Garmin product.

Favorites

Whatever the GPS I think he would be way past the number of Favorites on any unit. So anyone out there want to start a custom CSV POI file with ... ah ... everyone listed in it. laugh out loud Then test the file by making a Route to ... ah ... everyone.

Norad

Santa has all his tracking done for him by NORAD:
http://www.noradsanta.org/

zumo 665

Weather proof (very important on his night out), XM Weather (and music in case he gets bored), mounts to the sleigh handlebars and he can share the trip with the elves on their zumos when he returns home.

Yeah, nailed it! razz

Edit: fixed my poor spelling.

Thanks for the reminder.

No matter how good the box on the dash is, we still need eyes, ears, and a brain checking what it proposes with what's going on around us, deciding when it does or does not make sense.

Happy new year --

Well it looks like Santa's run turned out well enough ...

Story I heard was that Donner & a few of the others took Rudolph aside & reminded him that they all did fine w/o him way back when. Still being fit, they were ready to leave him behind. Rudolph suddenly discovered the queezes gone and it was another classic run, sans GPS, cell towers and all that other 21st Century nonsense.

Best wishes all & a happy, healthy & prosperous New Year. exclaim

Missing star.
