I curious about the GTM information showing up on my 3590.
I see 3 NAVTEQ subscriptions showing up as well as one for TTN. The TTN I added because NAVTEQ reporting is so poor.
NAVTEQ Traffic (US. CAN) 001f 1/a0/160
NAVTEQ Traffic (US. CAN) 1001 1/a0/7/0
NAVTEQ Traffic (US. CAN) 1001 12/a1/7/0
Total Traffic Network (US. ... 1001 1/00/64/0
Does anyone know why there are 3 NAVTEQ subscriptions showing?
Does anyone know what the data to the right means? I can see from the Traffic Status page that the codes are probably for:
cc/ecc/sid/ltn: l/a0/3/29N
So, what are cc/ecc/sid/ltn?
What does l/a0/3/29N mean?
Does the listing under FM Table show a history of all stations which have been received?
gtm 60
i live in the san andreas area and on recent trips to Modesto i didn't see any
navteq traffic. i did find some clear channel but i don't subscribe. he last time i saw navteq traffic was in livermore, which was 100 miles away, despite what that navteq coverage maps show. i even drove all the way to the delta/to pitsburg, baypoint , california and didn't find get anything new in the fm table
i tried the external antenna, i got it from amazon for 9.99 with free shipping
garmin email support doesn't really help. the most help I've gotten is emailing the btc (emmis) , they are the broadcaster association that has partners (fm stations) that broadcast the traffic signals. they told me what stations to try
in the Sacramento area to confirm the receiver is operational
anyway
1001 = lifetime subscription
ltn = location table number, no idea
sid = station identifier
ecc = extended country code
ftp://ftp.cordis.europa.eu/pub/telematics/docs/tap_transport...
looks to have a lot of info
clear channel tells you what stations to tune to. the btc /navteq wont tell you unless you pester them or they tell you to contact garmin for device specific support
