RAM Windshield Mount That Uses Garmin Cradle

I have looked at Ram Mounts website, but it is a bit confusing for me. Anyway, I would like to get a Ram Windshield Mount that will still allow be to use the Garmin powered cradle. Does anybody know if that is possible or does Ram only make mounts that use their own cradle?

You can use Ram Mounts with Garmin Cradle

Follow the steps in the GPS specific Mount Wizard in the Ram Mounts site to find the mount for your GPS. You are usually provided with options for attachment to different base (such as windshield mount or others). Typically, the mount works with the Garmin OEM cradle that allows port access as provided by the Garmin. I believe there may be some exceptions as usual. Try the Mount Wizard to be sure.

Garmin mounts

TigerDirect sells a variety of mounts at different prices. A genuine Garmin mount for my 3790 in Canada was sold recently for $ 19.99

RAM Windshield Mount That Uses Garmin Cradle

I should probably point out that I am using this currently http://www.rammount.com/NewProducts/unidenhomepatrolmount/ta... next to my Garmin Nuvi 350 OEM mount. Since the Garmin Nuvi 350 sits closer to the windshield, I am hoping that a RAM Mount would put it a bit farther back from the windshield, much like the Uniden Home Patrol HP-1 mount.
