My backyard is full of wildlife. I have trapped 3 skunks, 1 coon, 1 possum, a squirrel and a Tomcat this month.

Garmin Updates

Not sure where to post this..... I keep getting notices from Garmin for updates that are not for my model or location. Just wondered what the purpose of registering was, if Garmin doesn't check before broacasting these notices? Am I missing something? Can I (should I) opt out?

y'all. Preparing for a more or less direct hit from Hurricane Isaac. Thankfully it will not be as severe as Katrina was but will be eerily occurring on its anniversary seven years later!

one more week of work ...

... then I get a much-needed week of vacation. Hope to be able to ride down to southern Ohio, but the pending increase in the price of gasoline due to Hurricane Isaac gives me pause ... we'll see what happens.
