Smart Car Navigation System

I have a new Smart Car on order for lease. (No jokes please.) It comes with a well reviewed GPS Navigation system in an added package.

I cannot find information on how, or whether one can, add Custom POI to this device.

The question can be asked for this device, or generically, of course. For pre-installed GPS included in car purchases, how can one add Custom POI?
