I have a Tomtom5 on my TX. I use Holux 236 for GPS nav. Ijust got Tomtom6 also but hesitate to install bec. there is not that much improvement. Anyways, when I was just searching around, I found this forum. This is a great site and I will try to provide some info to help others. By the way, Ilive in Vancouver Canada.

TomTom 6 has many improvements (ie. updated maps and one large map vs. sections of the US) but I would not try to install it in a TX. According to TomTom it will only work on a Palm Treo or some Pocket PCs.
Let me know if you know anyone who was able to get the TomTom 6 to work with Palm TX. I also have a TomTom Nav. 6 waiting for an install.
I use the OEM Palm Cradle with built in GPS and also carry a bluetooth gps for traveling.

Check out this forum. people are installing TomTOm6 on TX. According to them, it works fine.
