TourGuide Express mode

With lots of new members now on board I thought I would re-post this easy method for TourGuide.I got the information from the post listed and all the credit goes to Hornbyp for the information.

Outline for TourGuide alerts using express mode with csv files.
1.Tour Guides are not speed-related.
2.Minimum distance is ¼ mile the maximum is 1.25miles.
3.25 =1/4 mile and 124=1.25 miles.
4.You can set different Proximities for each POI using the @speed syntax
or you can put the digits in the file name.
5.You will need an .mp3 or wav file. It must be named the same as the csv file except for the extensions.
6.Whenever you're within the proximity circle, you'll will have TourGuide:
banner on the top of the screen.
7.Examples
8.a. Sonny’s TourGuide 25.csv
9.b. Sonny’s TourGuide 25.wav or mp3=1/4 mile radius
10.c. Rest areas TourGuide 124.csv
11.d. Rest areas TourGuide 124.wav or mp3=1 1/4 mile radius.
File can be loaded in express mode and still get the alert.

Manual for me

I load all my POI's manually, as I prefer to set my RLC's at 200 meters, and my TourGuides at 10,000 meters (6.2 miles as the crow fly's). That's a good radius for the 2 TourGuides I use when traveling; BBQ, and Costco.

Can't miss good BBQ!
