Garmin vs Magellan

I just switched from years of Magellan to a Garmin 2555 GPS. My biggest concern is the Garmin does not sound a beep at the exact moment that I should execute a turn. I thought that this was a great feature in the Magellan. Does anyone know of a way to make the Garmin do this???

Beep

I have both and like the garman better. More user friendly. Mine tells lme when to turn gqite a distance form from where I need to turn and remindes me right up to when I need to turn.

I have 2 Magellan GPS's, I like the turn notification feature and the Garmin doesn't have this feature, so I have to keep a close look at the map and the amount of feet before the turn using my Garmin 2350LMT.

Magellan turn notification

I have a Garmin 350 which I have had for years and love. My wife got a Magellan and did not like the beep at turn feature. The Garmin tells you via voice to turn. She sent the Magellan back and now we have two Garmins.
