Just got my Garmin streetpilot c530.. I think I am going to love it. We are going to vacation in a few days and think it is going to be as handy as a "pocket on a shirt".. lol. Just found this site and love it,if I can ever figure out what you all are talking about. I am still trying to figure out what a MapSource is.....?

Welcome to the site.
Mapsource is Garmin's map software that runs on your PC. If you got a unit with preloaded maps, you probably did not get a CD with it that has Mapsource on it.

It's not easy to find red light cameras in my City, it seems.
I have searched the web, checked out the City website, and have just about given up trying to find a red light camera listing. Is this secret stuff? Wednesday, I will just check with the traffic planner here and see what he says. We must have at least ONE red light camera intersection I can send to Miss POI.

Finding Red Light Cameras
Hey,
I do not go through red lights, but in NY, the yellow light is there for a blink of the eye and if you hesitate, BINGO!!!, ticket, if there was a camera at that light. That's how I find them. Now, thanks to this site and Mis POI, I am aware of them and it also is causing me not to hesitate at any lights, even non camera ones. I still think this is more of a money making thing than a safety one, just because cars are slowing down to much as they approach one of these lights, just so they don't make a mistake. At night some produce great light shows. I will bring the grandchildren one night to see.LOL
