Courtesy of Slashgear, the Garmin nuvi 2598FL is listed at the FCC as a “connected personal navigation device” and comes with not only Bluetooth but GSM/GPRS and HSPA+ radios for high-speed data on the move.

GSM and PCS (850/1700/1900 MHz) as well as GPS and 2.4 GHz bluetooth.

No dates specified. Will probably be a while before it shows up at Costco!

I'll have to keep an eye out for more details on this, to see what it'll do in the real world. It may be interesting enough to be my next new toy. mrgreen
