Nuvi 3590 User Entered Speed Limits

I have entered speed limits for many small roads for which there was no data only to lose it all when I needed to do a hard reset. Not surprising, but does anyone know where this data is stored? Looking at the file system, it is not obvious to me. Also, is this data somehow uploaded to Garmin?

Speed corrections database

Speed

class3 is correct

The files are located inside the SpeedCorrections

.System > SQLite > SpeedCorrections

The file names are speed.db and speed.mdb

When you connect to MyGarmin website if you have chosen to share information with them this is one of the files that are shared.

My guess is the speed.mdb came with the unit and probably the speed.db is the one with add to every time we enter or correct a speed limit.

.system and mass storge

Welcome to The Factory, kayest.

If you don't see the .system folder, it's because your 3590 is one of the new nuvi models that uses MTP:

You'll need to switch it to Mass Storage mode--and if you're using Windows PC, switch some Folder Options as well--to see the .system folder or its contents.
