Short week

Wow. Friday already. It's nice having a short work week even if it ends with cold and rainy weather. I'm not missing the 90 degree weather but having to turn the heat back on in the house just doesn't seem right for June 1.

Have a great weekend.

Rain

We've gotten some much needed rain down here too, Charlie. The lake & ponds around my house have filled back up substantially.

Free lawn watering... I don't have to pay the county to water my lawn this week. grin grin

We are getting plenty too.Stops long enough to cut grass.Expecting a real down pour this evening and winds up to 60 mph if the weatherman is right.Found out one thing.Put down some rubber mulch to cut out the weeding. It does not float like they say.

Most of our landscaping is done with river rock. We did do one stand-alone planter area with the rubber mulch several years ago. The stuff works great!

I hated buying bags and bags of mulch every year. mad

Between the river rock & rubber mulch, I have less garden work to do. grin

Just received my new Magellan RV9165 with the 7" screen. Impressed. Only issue is that the poi file converter .exe doesn't translate Garmin or TomTom files for use with this new item, and tech support couldn't say when it might.

Anybody out there got a fix?
