Actually this is only my 1st Ford - couldn't beat the ridiculous price I paid for it new.
Been a good car tho - 80K miles in 4 years - changed tires & brakes once and battery - that's it.
About 30.5 mpg on highway - 23 around town !

when the US auto manufacturers began "to get religion" and realized the main reason they were losing market share was because the foreign built units were more reliable and had better fit and finish. I had the last Taurus model before they went to the oval window styles and after only 3 years it had blown two head gaskets and was only worth salvage when I gave it to a a local school that taught auto mechanics. they rebuilt the engine (luckily the water jacket sprayed out and didn't fill a cylinder or 3) and then gave it to a needy family. Just bought what is now our 3rd Korean car since 1999 and after over a 1/4 million miles on the other two with no major problems.
