I have updated to software version 6.30. Since the update, when I look up custom POIs, instead of a list of files by category (Arby's, Harley-Davidson dealers, McDonald's, etc), I get a search of all custom POI locations within 10 miles of where I am located. I'm scratchin' my head over this one, folks ... how can I get my custom POIs re-organized by category? I can't figure out what I may be overlooking, so I thought I'd turn this one over to the Hive Mind and see if we can come up with a solution together.

Do you have them set up like
Do you have them set up like this http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25721
Charlie. Nuvi 265 WT and Nuvi 2597 LMT. MapFactor Navigator - Offline Maps & GPS.
.
I believe the new v6.30 (unified for various models including the 3490 which I have) has broken what was previously fine regarding POIs. See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/36126 for some more info.
nuvi 760, nuvi 765T, nuvi 855, nuvi 3790LMT, nuvi 3490LMT - SoCal area
I had a feeling I should have waited to update ...
... anyway, it appears to be something that was broken during the update to 6.30. I will try to organize POI files into their own sub-folders and see if that works as a temporary workaround. Hopefully, Garmin will patch this one soon, before I go on my trip to Washington, DC for Memorial Day weekend. I never had any problems with custom POI's prior to this. Thanks to all for your input and assistance.
