Toothpick Model of San Francisco

Toothpick Model of San Francisco

You've probably made model houses out of popsicle sticks with your children. This man made a model of the entire city of San Francisco . And he decided to use toothpicks. He used more than 100,000 toothpicks, and it took 35 years to build. Not only is it huge, you can take tours using little plastic balls. Prepare to be amazed. Click below:

Wow

You just know he would awaken at night and write down his next idea for his model.

It's amazing. I'm surprised

It's amazing. I'm surprised that he rolled some balls through the model itself and that it didn't break any of the toothpicks.

Almost

I guess he is not the most liberal in San Francisco, wanting the USS Missouri in town, which ended up in Hawaii.

Now There's a Sunday Afternoon project..

I guess if you have too much time on your hands... rolleyes
