It's late

A little late this week. Instead of wishing you all a great week, I'll settle for a great week-end.

March has arrived. FL weather is great here in the mid-section. 80's tomorrow. I don't miss the Up North weather at all.

I have had a Casio Waveceptor watch for 5 years and love it. It is always accurate within 1 second ... updates daily between midnight and 3 am (I leave it on my window sill at night). It is solar charged, so never needs a new battery. I don't ever plan on buying another watch. Mine is the model with the digital readout. It has very large numbers that I can read, even without my glasses.

I have a Wave Ceptor watch as well, unfortunately I am currently out of range and it hasn't updated since January. Sad thing is I have no idea how to manually adjust it, may need to look up the manual online smile

Got rear-ended by a young kid tonight while stopped at a red light. I think it did more damage to his "first (see also clunker) car" than to my Honda, but still feeling a bit sore. sad

I think he was just distracted by being a teenage boy. He had two buddies in the car with him also, so who knows what was going on at the time of the accident.

Teenage boy, eh?

Sounds like he was trying to make an IMPRESSION on you! wink

Leap Year Snow storm

Yup, thoughts we were going to get through Feb. w/o a storm, but I was wrong.
Had about 10 inches of snow when it was all said and done.
Thinking we are lucky it's only snow. My heart goes out to those folks experiencing tornadoes.

Computer issues too

That stinks, metricman. My laptop caught a virus and my IT department has been working on it for 2 days. They now tell me that they're just going to get me a new laptop instead of fixing it. I hope I can get some of my files off of there...

Finally we got some cooler temperatures here in South Texas. It has been way too hot. I think it is supposed to be 46 tonight.

New laptop because of a virus??

That sounds to be overkill. Our company won't spend a lot of time on it. They will just re-image it. It would be a crap shoot if they save the files though.
There are ways to get the files like put the drive in a USB enclosure, but you need to be absolutely sure you do not re-infect the new drive. They might not even give you the old drive.

Good luck.
