Undocumented "Voice Command" on Nuvi 3490LMT

You can say "Find by name" and it will respond "Speak the name of a place". Find by name is not one of the choices in the main menu for voice command.

It's there on my 3790. Weird you don't have it as well.

I drive a truck and sometimes when the air dryer discharges,or any loud "air" sound, the voice command menu will pop up on my 2460
. 2 Garmin DriveSmart 61 LMT-S, Nuvi 2689, 2 Nuvi 2460, Zumo 550, Zumo 450, Uniden R3 radar detector with GPS built in, includes RLC info. Uconnect 430N Garmin based, built into my Jeep. .
Weird you don't have it as well
It is on my Nuvi 3490LMT, you have a Nuvi 3790. It was on my Nuvi 3790LMT as well before I upgrade to the Nuvi 3490LMT. I just wounder if there are other undocumented voice commands.

Perfectly understood, but its not on the Nuvi 3490 but for some reason it still responds to the command.

Some nuvi will respond to a voice command that is not on the list. I guess garmin didn't have the space in the manual to put everyone in there.

Didn't you know you were supposed to ask Professor X? Just be careful. Nothing can stop the Juggernaut.

We have an '11 Ford Edge with Sync and when I request a song from the usb drive, I have said the command;
"Play song The Water is Wide".
B*tchy Betty (our name for the Ford voice) replies:
"Playing song On the way to Kansas" ???
Ain't automation grand. BTW "she" gets most of the songs right but trying to use the built in navigation system is a whole other topic...
