Proximity alerts and sounds - c530

According to the literature, the c530 (StreetPilot) should be able to do this, but I am having no luck. I am trying to use it with the Rest Room POI's.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If the unit will do voice alerts try sox.exe and wav files.The specs don't show having mp3 ability. See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25730

I think it just beeps at you. Some garmin can have custom sounds and some cant.
