Currently, I am playing with a $9 Coby mp3 player that has a radio, AND video capability! (Okay it was a kind of Black Friday deal at Fry's Electronics.) Reminiscing about the highway 61 POI I did, I'm thinking that I could get the MP3 of the songs to play as the trip along the road progressed.... Not proximity activated, but simulated proximity, based on estimated travel speed and the clock. The Coby could display a picture of the the exact location for kids in the back seat to watch for....
