Sony Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0

I was at a Best Buy today and I saw that the Sony Galaxy Players are now available and do have GPS. I was thinking that with CoPilot for Android and a suitable windshield mount, these might make a decent automobile navigator. Plus it would serve as an MP3 player, wifi browser, etc.

I actually sort of wish that Garmin would take a look at this and offer their very own Android device with a wifi browser, MP3, camera, etc. Granted, the Nuvifone and Garminfone were not overwhelmingly successful, but some of their newest 2012 Nuvis aren't really that far from this anyway.

.

You might want to take a look at the Vizio 8" tablet. The price has dropped to $190 at Walmart, Costco and Samsclub.

Don't expect a true Garmin Andoid Device anytime soon

Other than Navigon Mobil Navigator purchased by Garmin, Don't expect a true Garmin Nuvi type Android app anytime soon.
