Map the Red Light Cams online?

Is it possible to take the Red Light Camera spreadsheet and import it in to something like Google so I can visually see on a map where all the cameras are located?

map red light cams

use the http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocoder/

then go to results box top line should read
longitude,latitude,,name,desc,color
Then open the redlight file highlight all the redlight cams the cordinates "copy" then "paste"
into results box then click on draw a map and you should have your map

Thanks!!

Wow - That's spooky seeing them all together on a map.

I wish there was a way to know which ones were operational and which were planned. All the ones in Keller haven't even yet been installed yet.

red light

I believe most in new york city are operational don't know about anyplace else, but that was great idea about how you would like to see on map .Didn't even think out putting it on paper. Its nice to be able to print it out and see on paper. when i am in my own neighborhood i really dont use the garmin so to see where camera are on paper is great

Hmmm, the header for me reads latitude, longitude, name, desc, color. How were you able to specify longitude, latitude?

On this page there are two

On this page there are two boxes. In the top box I placed row A & B's data. (Just copy them from the Excel spreadsheet). Then I clicked the "Start Geocaching" button. When it was done I took a gander at my map and was amazed at how many are in the area. That was what got me to wondering which are planned and which are already operational.

change header

I just erased the header in results box and changed it to longitude, latitude,,name, desc, color because I knew the csv file puts the longitude first

Thanks

Very cool... I will have to try that!
