Anti-Glare Shield

My Nuvi 2450 has a very bad glare. What do you use for a glare shield and does it work well?

Glare

I took it off the windshield mount and got rid of the suction mount all together. Bought the appropriate mounts from ProClips USA and mounted it closer to me on the front of the Instrument panel. Now I'm not in violation of 'windshield obstruction' laws in various states, it's closer to me, I can read it easier and there is no glare at all, regardless of angle chosen.

Nuvi 2450

My 2450 is so much different than the 750 I have.

I can't adjust the glare off. I have it on the center console or on my lap and can't adjust the glare off at certain times of the day.

I think this is made of glass and that makes it glare differently than my 750.

Other than the glare I do so love it. Just need something for the glare.

Hood?

What about some type of hood to block the strong light from the windshield? Get some stiff craft paper or light cardboard. Cut and fold it to shape to fit over the case. Double sided Scotch Tape to hold it on. Maybe some paint?
