Software v4.30 and 3760?

Just wanted to ask if I did a woops! My 3760 was having freezing issues that just started a~ week ago, so I went to Garmin's site and did the normal WTF (only IE)update. Then I remembered this site.

Are there any issues with this, new to me, software version?

No idea

I just bought a 3790, and DL'd the 4.3, and am doing the latest maps now. I guess we'll find out...

If it botches, I'll return the unit to Costco!

I hope you like it, mine is the best thing to come to PND's ever. It'll fit in your pocket because it's thin. And you'll love the standby mode.

I've heard of a few glitches with 4.3, like voice command disappearing, routing problems and a few others on 4.3, but that was on the 3790.

I guess it's time to genuflect! wink

All updated

So far, so good. Voice commands still work fine from what I can tell. Unit is faster with the new FW as well. Maps loaded fine, pretty quick as well. Did not do a hard reset.

Time to hit the road to proof it.

Stop looking for reasons to take it back, it works just
fine. The only thing that could be a bit better is the quickness of vertical to horizontal view. Mine seems to love going to vertical but takes it sweet time to go back.

No reasons so far

My works well horizontal to vertical and vis a vis. No excuse needed at all for now. But, thanks for the advice.

All in all, it works better than my 775T.

Been a few day's now,and

Been a few day's now,and everything is ship shape. No more freezing, is it possible that my older version got scrambled? I just started getting the freeze and have had the PND for several months.
