Update thru webupdater or Garmin site.

At least what Web Updater is reporting as the change:

Nothing Useful?

So it appears it is nothing to actually fix problems such as crashes or GLG. I wonder what could be so critical with retail maps that it never surfaced until now.

Where is the "mandatory" requirement? It isn't stated as such on the Garmin website at http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4357.

I appreciate the information.
I wish Garmin could just send me an e-mail though when an update was available for my maps or unit. The 760T LMT has always flashed up a message when first turned on that my "maps are out of date". They rarely are.
