Problems with Garmin Communicator on Mac

Is anyone else having problems installing this?

I try, it seems to install, and then when I go to the web page it complains that Garmin Communicator wasn't found.

I've been chatting with Garmin about it and they've said:
- make sure Mac is in 32-bit mode (it is)
- make sure Safari is in 32-bit mode (it is, but I don't remember having to fool with this on previous versions)
- install the latest Flip4Mac (which I did but I don't remember having to install that before).

Any thoughts?

No problems here. What OS and browser versions are you using? Have you tried rebooting after all the updates?

Try opening up disk utility

Try opening up disk utility and fix permissions. That helps with some problems that crop up. I actually added Disk Utility to my sidebar because I run it often enough.

Firewall?

Check to see if you allow incoming connections with the browser you're using. See System Preferences/Security/Firewall/Advanced. The list of applications with green lights should include your browser. Maybe that will solve your problem.
