Hi everyone. I'm planning on upgrading my c320 due mainly to the fact of the whole storing of POI's only on it's internal memory. Just to make sure I've got this right, the nuvi 350 does allow storing them on the SD card, right? Also if you have a nuvi 350, how do you like it? Thanks.
Had a Nuvi350
Upgraded to a 660. Difference is the 660 has a wide screen, bluetooth, and came with the traffic receiver; otherwise they're the same. Yes, with the 350, you can store POIs on the SD card...as well as MP3s (which my SD card is filled with) and audio books, & pictures too.
You will be pleased with a 350. But if you want bluetooth for cell phone use - you'll have to get a 360 or higher model in the 300 series, or 660 or better in that series will get you the wider screen, bluetooth, traffic, or, with the 680 - MSN direct.

Thanks for the reply Keith. I definitely think I will be much happier with the 350 than the c320 I currently have. My dad wanted a gps, and I don't think he would mind a one month old hand me down.
One more question for you, or whoever wants to answer. If I read correctly, the nuvi 350 comes preloaded with maps and has ~700 megs of free internal memory. Is this the case? Thanks.
.
Yes the Nuvi 350 has preloaded North America maps...if you want Europe too - go with a Nuvi 370. And there is a lot of left-over memory available on the 350, and with the ability to use an SD card, you can have plenty of memory space to do what you need to do.

Free Memory
If I read correctly, the nuvi 350 ........ has ~700 megs of free internal memory. Is this the case? Thanks.
With v4.4 update installed, my nuvi 350 had approximately 580 MB free memory.

Nuvi 350
Moved from 320 to nuvi 350. Latter easy to take along-fits in pocket. Whole N. America preloaded. Voice street directions. SD/interanl storage. So far like the 350 alot. Gave my son at school the 320. Check out ebay for some decent prices..I paid top dollar at Walmart in PA where my kid goes to school then saw on ebay for $100 less and no tax on ebay. Jake
Beware buying on Ebay
Q. Does Garmin have any authorized dealers on eBay or any other online auction site?
A. Garmin does not have any authorized dealers that sell new products directly on online auction sites. Any purchases made through online auction sites are on a "buyer beware" basis. A copy of the original sales receipt is required as the proof of purchase for warranty repairs. Online auction confirmations are not accepted for warranty verification and Garmin will not replace any missing components from any package purchased through an online auction.
There is always the possibility that products purchased through eBay or other online auction sites could be stolen merchandise. You assume this risk when you buy through these auction sites. If you buy a Garmin product through an online auction site and later send it to Garmin for service, if the product is determined by Garmin to be stolen merchandise upon receipt at Garmin's facility (through a serial number match), Garmin reserves the right to return the product to its rightful owner or send it to the investigating law enforcement authorities.

Does the external antenna
Does the external antenna for the 330c fit the other Garmin models if I am going to upgrade?

Updating maps
Thanks everyone. One more question regarding the preloaded maps, since all I know is the c320 with the maps loaded onto an SD card. When updating maps on the internal memory, do they get overwritten, or will it not allow that and I would then need to put them on an SD card?
