Kenwood KNA-G520 POI's problem...

Hi there. From the very beginning i want to appologize for my bad english, isn't my native language.
So...i have a Kenwood KNA-G520 device using Garmin NT City Navigator Europe. Recently i've downloaded a POI library and used the Poi Loader to load them in my device memory from SD Card. Every one of them was in *.csv format and having the *.bmp file each. I carefullt verified the .bmp extension not being duplicated and load them Manually, first time, and Express secon time nut the result is the same every time....:

They apear in the Custom POIs Menu of my device but on the map they appear like the grey spot as a default poi WITHOUT the image associated.

I've read all the posts here on this metter am i'm 100% SURE i've done right the whole process but the images still refuse to be shown on the map... sad

I really need advice of any type on this.

There is no one who might know about my issue? Really guys, i need help on this because i just can't figure it out where am i wrong. I appreciate any answer.

icons

The BMP file names have to be exactly the same as the CSV or GPX file name except for the extension.

Speed-Traps.csv
Speed-Traps.bmp

In some instances, the same letters have to be capitals as well, though some have reported it doesn't matter. I don't take chances.

There are, there are!

There are, there are! Double-checked! SAME *.csv as *.bmp and still not working, not showing them on the map except as a grey spot. Any other suggestions?

size in pixels

I forgot the pixel size, but there is a special pixel size required for the BMP file.

I don't know if i'm allowed to post here a link, is not a commercial one: from http://poiplaza.com/?p=co i've downloaded all the POIs that interested me. You're saying that might not me the correct pixel size of those *bmp? Coult some one confirm, after downloading one of those Garmin POIs if his associated bmp file has not the correct pixel size? And if not, what should be te right one?

Max size

Max size for nuvi are 24x24 pix .bmp , and some hanhelds
16x16pix .bmp
They also have to be 8 bit (256 color) ,some of the nuvis can use 24bit I think .
The Ikon downloaded with the files was 24bit,16x16pix .bmp , so they should be ok if youre gps can use 24 bit, if not you must convert them to 8bit..

one other thing

After loading POI, have you done a reset on the unit? POI loader does state some units need a reset before POI are visible.

I can only reset my unit by

I can only reset my unit by putting the contact of my car and yes, it has been done. Now i see something very strange: i was on a trip to Bulgaria and Greece and SOME pois DO appear on the map with their icon but others still don't. I'm abble to see the pois on the road i'm currently driving on but others situated on the left or right of the road do not appear. It might be something about the distance set up for them to be shown on the map from the device Settings? That distance is now on "Auto".
