Using My TomTom, I installed several POI files. The titles (e.g. Target, Costco) show up in my list of POI categories, but when I select one of these newly installed categories, the message No POI Found appears. Do I have to do anything else to get these to work?

I don't know about Via 1530TM but on a pre navcore 10 TomTom the only files required are a .ov2 and a .bmp files placed in your map folder.
bye
Works on my GO 720
I just tried the Target ov2 file from
http://www.poi-factory.com/node/3537
and it seems to work for me. I can see the various POIs under "Target Stores" and select one as my destination.
However, there are some known quirks with the ov2 files here; see the thread at...
http://www.poi-factory.com/node/33837
for details. Perhaps you could try opening and re-saving the ov2 file using Extra_POI_Editor (EPE)
http://turboccc.wikispaces.com/
to see if that helps.
OV2 problems with Via
I am having the same problem. I have sort of a fix.... download poi-convertor
go to tomtom in options
choose description as "use for name"
nothing in the "blank name prefix"
name truckation
none {128}
you get the poi in a list but it gives you the poi number not the address..... going to keep working on it and see if i can get it to work completely. hope this helps!!

Thanks for the info. Let me know if you have any more success.
