Newbie Nuvi Question : Turn indicator way BEFORE turn

On my Nuvi 360 it tells me where the next turn is right after you make a turn. It also tells me when I get close to the turn.
But what if I am driving on a 13 mile stretch and am on mile 1 and want to know which direction (right or left) I am going to turn in 12 miles? I cant figure our a visual or audible indicator.
When you rent the Hertz Never Lost system which is Garmin, in the bottom corner it shows an arrow pointing right or left right next to the distance to next turn indicator.

Not sure about the Nuvi, but on my Zumo if I touch the "button" in the lower right corner, it will announce the next turn.

Just touch the lower right for the next turn. Touch the top bar and you will get the whole list of turns to come.

Also, just touching the map will display a 2D zoomed out display of your route which will show the next turn direction. This display can be zoomed in and out with the + & - buttons and can be scrolled around with your finger.
