Errors With Map Redraw

Tis is a 1490 using software version 5.20.
When I create a route on Mapsource (latest version) and then import it to the unit some waypoints I have created do not draw correctly. Anybody having similar issues?

Changes made from version 5.20 to 5.30:

Fixed an error that caused some third-party maps to draw incorrectly.

Mistake

Sorry, my mistake; I do have the latest 5.30 and not 5.20.
Sometimes if I go back to Mapsource and move the offending waypoint, it redraws correctly.
I forgot to mention that the errors happen at waypoints created in Mapsource while creating routes.

Mapsource is a very poor tool for laying out routes. In fact, no mapping software will lay out a route the Nuvi will follow exactly except by blind luck.

The GPS has it's own routing engine so when you load a route it disregards everything except for the named points. The unit then calculates a route between the points according to the way routing is coded in the unit. The route you are told to follow often is different than the route you spent hours setting up. My experience has been to just let the unit display the map when trying to follow a route that doesn't fit the "fastest" or "shortest" model - especially if you want a scenic route that's a little off the beaten path.
